A: From what l've read,this will work on 2012 and 2013 for G.M cars and Trucks.It may also work on other makes and models.I did several internet searches before purchasing this device,and found that this model is often mentioned specifically for 2012 and 2013 for G.M vehicles.You should be able to find specific information for your for colorado pretty easily.Also,I have read that there is a reset procedure for 2012 and earlier for G.M vehicles that does not require a reset tool,so you may not need this device at all.

A: I don't know all the automobiles that it will work on but I know for sure that it works on late model for G.M. pick up trucks-2007 on. that is what i use mine for.very easy to use.Good quality product.

A: Hold the power button for 3 seconds and 2 LEDs flashing 2 times,selected brand's LED flashing 2 times.

Q: How to detect which mode the device is in?

A: Press the power button,if the green LED flashing,it means EL-50448 Plus in G.M. mode.if the yellow LED flashing.it means EL 50448 plus in Ford mode.

Q: How to set my car in TPMS relearn mode?

A: For G.M. Series cars

1)Make the gear in 'P' position.

2)Use cruise to choose TPMS re-learn mode in the dashboard settings.

3)Horn will ring twice and the TPMS in dicator flashes,then the learning mode has been successfully entered.If equipped the message center will display the front left(FL) tire.

NOTICE :-

1. When using EL-50448 Plus,please make sure antenna in correct possition.

2.Please make sure the 9v battery in good condition.

3.It can not work with all G.M. and Ford cars.

How to Use EL-50448 Plus TPMS Relearn Tool.

>>STEP 1 - ENTER LEARNING MODE.

1) Need 1 piece 9v battery for this.(Not included)

2) Set the gearshift lever to 'P'.

3) Put the ignition switch to 'ON'.

4) Enter the interface of tire pressure display by DIC.

5) DIC shows"PRESS SET/CTRL TO RE-LEARN"

6)Press "SET/CTRL"

7)The turn signal is lighted for 3 seconds and the horn beep sound twice to enter the learning mode.

>>STEP 2 - READ TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR INFORMATION.

1) Start from the front-left wheel,

2) Make the J- 46079 or Diagnostic Tool EL-50448 antena up against the valve core position and close to the rim of the tire side wall.

3) EL-50448 Plus tire pressure tool starts by the start switch.

4)Successful to read the tire pressure sensor information when the horn beeps once.

>>STEP 3 - SAME METHOD TO READ OTHER TIRE PRESSURE INFORMATION.

1) Follow the instuction above to read tire pressure of the front-right,rear-right,rear-left wheels.

2) Turn signals is lighted for 3 seconds and the horn beeps twince when the learning is complete.

3) For certain vehicles equipped with a tire pressure Monitoring (TPM) system,a "Sensor Re-learn procedure"must be performed after tire rotations, Remote control door lock receiver module replacement or tire pressure sensor replacement.This re-learn procedure can be performed by using special tool EL-50448.
